	Old git (check the butterflies) Alec Coe ran into the 8.4s in his blown-alcohol slingshot.		Roger Goring put on a very powerful flame and thunder show in the Firestorm Jet FC then had his parachute open at a right angle in the strong crosswind.
	Pete Ashworth made the first passes in his new Dayglo Twister 4 Outlaw Anglia and what a beautiful piece of kit it is. Next stop after this weekend is Malta's Hal Far Raceway.		Wild Bunch Co-ordinator Claire Meaddows was persuaded to drive son Mark Hartnell's slingshot and made a number of runs, taking off a second each time to the cheers of her colleagues.
	Crew Chief Dave Williams drove the Cunning Plan altered in convertible mode and clocked an 11.2.		Andy Irvine will be riding dad Don's Supertwin Gas bike next season.
	This is a new car, to us at least, for Duncan Watts but he pulled the usual great burnouts and wheels-up launches.		Dean Smythe took the wheel of the Hell's Belle altered whilst usual driver Helen and Twisted crew Christine manned the cauldron.
	A rare outing for Hazel Mitchell in the Matrix Too Junior Dragster...		...whilst sister and usual driver Holly took a turn on Harry Steadman's Junior Drag Bike.
	Brian Huxley's youngest son Marc drove the Top Banana roadster into the twelves, so far.		Jeff Rance returned in his Import having removed the evidence of his recent guardrail encounter.
	2005 UK Pro ET Champion John Atkinson was pulling burnouts worthy of Freddy Fagerström then running low nines...		...John's son Tom also ran his own Escort, pairing up with John at the end of the day. John gave Tom an eleven-second head start and took him on the finish line.
	Chris Hodgkins made several passes in his Direct Gas-sponsored Pro ET rail.		A muscle car and an enthusiastic crew, it doesn't come much better.
	Steve Field's very smart Black Pig started life as the Hazeltons' Thunderbird - and if you can remember that far back then it's time to start lying about your age.		Joe Stevens was back, in black of course, and clocked Personal Bests on just about every pass, getting down to the low nines.
	Supertwin Gas record holder John Floyd ran a number of 9.1s.		Annalieze and Kirsty Gibb both had a go of their Junior Dragster now carrying the name of MPM Oil of which Andrew and Sandie Gibb are UK distributors.
	Mick Rogers' stealth Cortina smoked out the start line and then launched as if fired from a gun.		There were several examples of both new and old Imports. Jeff Thurston in his Mustang awaited his turn with buddy Matt Wright ready to oversee his burnout.
	Mark Watts' very tidy Pro ET Chevy ran consistent tens.		9.50 Bike racer Paul Hambidge with new colour scheme.
	Roger Luty ran deeper and deeper into the tens to his crew's delight.		Martin Hill fogged and toasted the start line then clocked a 5.9 in the Fireforce 2 Jet FC.
	Scott Collier's immaculate Junior Drag Bike was enhanced still further later in the day by green neons on the bottom of the frame.		Outlaw Anglia racer Simon Barlow put on the Mickey Thompson Street Radials, pulled a huge burnout, switched on the nitrous, and this was the result.
	It was very much a family day out at SCR today. Zak Johnson's dad watched over his several runs.		Holly Baldwin was also being supervised by her dad and he was very impressed when she strapped a huge holeshot on a US muscle car.
	Wendy Clutterbuck is continuing to get a handle on her Supertwin Fuel Bike and couldn't want for better assistance than from dad Steve and six-second Funny Bike racer Tim Blakemore.		Victoria Bishop made the first outing in her Junior Stock Dragster recently acquired from Anna Stanley.
	Judging by the wheelbase and the way this guy is wedged into his street rod, the car was caught between two juggernauts on the way here.		One of the reasons we call him "Wobbly Bob"...
